There is quite a bit of attention these days about the ways that humans can do more in the area of mosquito controls, and for good reason. While these insects have been around for thousands of years, the amount of problems that they produce has made many people try to innovate and solve these insects at the source. Even for those who did not think that there was anything that they could do about these creatures, there are thousands upon thousands of people working on this problem daily to try and find a long term solution that will make a difference in thousands of lives around the world

Though for the most of us in the world, mosquito controls is something that is regularly reduced by applications of repellent, citronella candles and oil, and various other common reliefs, but what does one do if this is not enough? And for countries where these issues affect tourism, livestock and poultry health, and even present a health crisis to humans, any help is greatly appreciated. Diseases like malaria, dengue fever, yellow fever, and West Nile virus are easily transmitted through these insects, but there are ways to prevent this problem.

There are plenty of charities that send netting and various other techniques of reducing the insect population, and this in turn is saving thousands of lives each year. More often with the lives of children being at the greatest risk, the importance of recognizing this problem that is still very much so alive in developing nations has never been higher.
